Hello, Servus and a warm welcome was the motto at Haus Unterkircher in the early 1970s. Stefania and Albert Unterkircher rented out rooms with great dedication, diligence and enthusiasm and sent many happy guests off into their everyday lives.
In their luggage: many happy faces and a pile full of wonderful memories. In 2022, Arnold and Georg renovated the family home and created four modern, very cosy flats. Welcome to the sunny village of Terenten!

Active holidays in valleys Pusteria and Eisack
Discover the tranquil beauty of untouched landscapes and the endless joy of outdoor adventures in this picturesque corner of South Tyrol.
As the village with the most hours of sunshine per year, Terenten can call itself a sunny village.
The community lies at 1,210 metres above sea level on the Pustertal Valley Sun Road between the main town of the Pustertal Valley, Bruneck, and the episcopal city of Brixen. Terenten with its numerous fractions is a hiker's paradise in summer - whether an excursion to the Agstnerbergalm, a tour to the Tiefrastenhütte or a more strenuous mountain tour to the Eidechsspitze or Hochgrubbachspitze - alpinists as well as leisure hikers feel right at home. In the centre of the village there is a sports centre with riding stables, tennis courts, football pitch and one of the biggest attractions is the activity park with a large playground and mini golf course.
In winter there is a ski lift right in the village and experienced skiers can reach South Tyrol's No.1 ski mountain in about 20 minutes. The free ski bus takes you directly to your skiing holiday at Kronplatz every day. A snowshoe hike to the Pertinger Alm or a toboggan run are also not to be missed during your stay in Terenten.
From the north: If you are driving to Terenten from the north, take the A22/E45 motorway in a southerly direction, take the Brixen exit and follow the signs to Pustertal. Before the village of Vintl, take the exit to Terenten.
From the south: If you are coming from the south, drive north on the A22/E45 motorway, take the Bressanone/Brixen exit and follow the signs for Val Pusteria/Pustertal. Before the village of Vintl, take the exit to Terenten.
To get to Terenten by train from the south and north, take the train to Franzensfeste station. From there, take the train in the direction of Brunico/Bruneck to the Vandoies/Vintl stop and then take the bus to Terento/Terenten.
